OnWire Awarded 8(a) Contract to Provide Identity Management Support for the Federal Government

OnWire has been awarded an 8(a) contract through the Small Business Administration (SBA) to provide Identity Credentialing and Access Management (ICAM) support for the Federal Government. OnWire will supply services and solutions related to ICAM security, technologies, and processes in supporting the Federal Government during the 12-month contract.

OnWire will assist the Federal Government in meeting ICAM and Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12) initiatives. The creation and signing of HSPD-12 adopted the Personal Identity Verification (PIV) card as the standard credential for federal employees and contractors for access to federal information systems and federally controlled facilities. The PIV card is a key element in implementing ICAM by assisting the Federal Government in moving towards strong authentication.

A leader in IT security and IAM, OnWire looks forward to providing the resources and technical proficiency necessary to support the Federal Government’s mission. As a Prime contractor, OnWire will be responsible for fulfilling all aspects of the contract, including interacting with the Federal Government, project management, organizing and overseeing resources, and meeting all contract requirements.
