OnWire’s Identity and Access Management (IAM) cloud solution, OnCloud, was recently validated and given the Ready for IBM Security Intelligence seal of approval. OnCloud, a SaaS provider for IAM capabilities, is offered as an Identity Provider, Service Provider, Broker, or Proxy on behalf of customers. User management capabilities include policy-based provisioning, workflow, reporting, auditing, recertification, and self-service.
OnCloud is powered by IBM® Security Systems Software and is hosted on a SSAE 16, SOC 1 Type III Certified Data Center. It utilizes 2N Power Distribution Standards, is baselined at FISMA Moderate, and is FICAM Compliant. OnCloud also features a proxy service for customers that requires enhanced privacy for user transactions. The proxy acts as a federation broker between Identity Providers and Relying Parties (RPs) while preserving user anonymity, unlinkablity, and unobservability.
Achieving Ready for IBM Security Intelligence validation confirms that OnCloud has been vetted against IBM technical specifications for interoperability, providing confidence that the solution will scale and align to IBM software standards. This validation will also allow OnWire to offer products that extend the core values of IBM Security solutions for the design, development, and delivery of cloud solutions to support new security capabilities for customers.
