OnWire Consulting Group, LLC (OnWire) recently sponsored the North Carolina Federal Advanced Technologies Symposium, hosted by the North Carolina Military Business Center, at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC. The breakthrough event was backed by The Office of Senator Richard Burr, the North Carolina Military Foundation, the Institute for Defense & Business, and the University of North Carolina System.
The objective of the symposium was to establish a productive dialogue between businesses and universities developing advanced technologies, and military commands, warfighters and government agencies with diverse technology requirements. This is especially important for North Carolina, as the event focused on the advanced technology needs of the Department of Defense, along with other federal organizations within the state.
The symposium also gave industry professionals the opportunity to take part in discussions ranging from Medical Technologies to Energy Solutions. An OnWire Security Architect participated as a panelist during the Cyber Security discussion. This discussion focused on identity management as the nexus of four forces reshaping the enterprise in terms of social, mobile, information, and cloud.
