OnWire Consulting Group (OnWire) is pleased to announce its involvement with the West Virginia High Tech Consortium (WVHTC), a non-profit organization focused on the economic growth and recovery of the high tech business sector in the state of West Virginia. The WVHTC Foundation, based in Fairmont, aims to set the standard as a leading and innovative national organization, whose primary mission is to provide technology-based products, programs and services to the global marketplace.
For over 20 years, the WVHTC Foundation has developed projects that have created jobs, fostered innovation, and created relationships in the state. Standing firmly behind their core values of integrity, excellence, service, accountability, teamwork and growth, the Foundation has excelled tremendously and has kept its commitment to improving West Virginia by strengthening the economy – in areas such as technology, entrepreneurship and homeland security. OnWire aims to support the WVHTC Foundation’s missions as they seek to foster local talent and strengthen the community.
The WVHTC Foundation operates under two high-tech programs, the Advanced Technologies Group (ATG) and the Mission Systems Group. The ATG performs basic and applied research and development for projects in the fields of electrical engineering, computer science, and physics. The Mission Systems Group is primarily concerned with the development of systems that enable government customers to execute missions in new technologies.
OnWire is looking forward to its involvement with the organization, as well as continuing to support its loyal customers, including the Air Force and FBI, through their partnership with the WVHTC. The company is also interested in the investment and growth of the state of West Virginia. By working with the WVHTC to recruit and develop local talent, including students from local universities WVU and Fairmont State, OnWire will ultimately create job opportunities for residents of the state and will contribute to West Virginia’s economic growth.
