IBM Security Sales Development / Business Partner

OnWire is a services and solutions provider of IBM Security. We are IBM Business Partner of 10+ years and continue to grow our business around IBM technology. We have an open sales position to support our expanding portfolio of IBM Security SaaS products. Reporting to the Director of Operations, your primary responsibility is to drive new business and close deals. You will work closely with a Sales Engineer and Operations to facilitate needs around the sales process, which include prospecting, digital lead generation, demos, PoCs, presentations, marketing events (digital and in-person). You would be responsible for selling IBM software products and solutions to customers across multiple industries in North America.


Provide consultative sales techniques, technology solution knowledge and industry expertise to influence client decisions, add new value and meet immediate and long-term business requirements
Engage client decision makers to drive alignment and consensus on IBM solutions via social, phone or in-person interactions
Identify potential new buyers and solution opportunities within the client organizations using digital tools other social business mediums
Negotiate and close deals by understanding, building, and delivering client value propositions; share insights that promote IBM Security
Develop and execute long-term consultative sales strategies to grow current clients and generate new business opportunities
Maintain and grow skills and knowledge in consultative sales, technical solutions and industry trends
Apply sales and technical expertise required to identify leads and setup follow-up meetings with Sales Engineer
Identify, develop and nurture leads generated from marketing campaigns

Applicants should:

Have customer sales/services experience
Comfortable speaking and presenting solutions to customers
Demonstrate a passion for sales and customer success
Have strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills
Possess motivation to develop skills and learn now technologies
Open to moderate travel


2-5 years experience selling products and solutions to Government and Commercial customers

Possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers and other employees

Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook

Preferred that candidate have Technology Sales experience, but not required

Education Requirements: Bachelors Degree
