OnCloud® Identity and Access Management Platform Listed on Apps.gov – a Presidential Initiative Website

OnWire announces that OnCloud, a FedRAMP Ready Identity and Access Management (IAM) Platform, is listed on a presidential initiative website called Apps.gov. The US General Services Administration (GSA) manages Apps.gov, which is a marketplace that features roughly 100 cutting-edge solutions to help government buyers procure cloud products. The selection criteria for Apps.gov is exclusive, as all cloud products listed must have gone through either the stringent FedRAMP or federal negotiated ToS processes.

The Apps.gov initiative was driven by multiple factors: The desire for cloud-based products inside government, the push to improve the cost-effectiveness and flexibility of the government’s IT budget, and the need for greater sustainability and transparency of IT infrastructure. Through Apps.gov, government customers will be able to learn more about OnCloud and its capabilities, the certifications and strict security testing that it has completed, and the government-wide contracts OnWire has made available for procurement. OnWire will also have the ability to explore new channels through Apps.gov in which to sell to the federal government and continue to build upon our reputation as a leader in the IAM services and solution sector of the market.

OnCloud, a comprehensive IAM Platform solution, utilizes IBM’s market-leading IAM technology to provide a full and adaptable set of IAM capabilities. OnCloud, the first IAM Platform solution approved at FedRAMP Ready, is available for review by government customers in the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) repository. As a FedRAMP Ready IAM Platform listed on Apps.gov, OnCloud is now more visible to government customers interested in the procurement of cloud-based products.
